Seeing Beneath the Surface – Delineating Soil Contaminants from a UST

The photo taken was of North Drilling delineating soil impacts from a leaking UST used to store Avgas.  Using macro-core MC5 Geoprobe sampling equipment North Drilling achieved 16 boreholes to approximately 15′ in just over half a day.  The work was completed to provide the necessary soil field screening and confirmatory sampling in order to identify and confirm the lateral extents of soil impacts beneath the surface and downgradient of the UST.  This drilling program was completed to provide an estimated quantity of impacted soil requiring remediation.

All work was completed using the Geoprobe 7822DT by North Drilling www.northdrilling.ca
